Here in the UK we have something called Deed of Covenant. You tell the Inland revenue that you have pleged to send a regular amount at a regular period, say once a month, to a registered charity and the charity can claim back the tax you paid on that amount. This means that the charity get's money from the inland revenue as well as your regular donation.
Do thay have something similar in Canada? |
