Keep Your Monthly Transit Pass

ImageThe cost of your monthly transit pass can be used as a federal non refundable tax credit starting in the June 2006 tax season.

If you find yourself buying monthly transit to work or school please don't throw out the pass as it could be worth money to you as a tax deduction. You can claim the amount for your transit pass as well as the transit pass of your spouse and any children under 19 years old.
